STEETLEY MEADOWS Near COVENTRY

Steetley Meadows are situated north of the village of Ryton on Dunsmore between the village and the River Avon.

They lie within a complex of flooded gravel pits , fen, and scrub woodland adjacent to the river. These habitats form a mosaic across the site, which is noted for it''s breeding and wintering birds and links with the Brandon Marsh Site of Special Scientific Interest.

The location is flat with a number of footpath routes. Please be aware of open water.
